When I am selecting a model for a painting, my requirements are the models have something within them that is far beyond their physical attritubitues.
I connect instantly to a persons inner light or their god-like essence; some call this the “IT factor.” The “It factor” in a person described as having that certain something, that you cannot quite identify, but they are electric and alive. The It Factor person is not shallow, arrogant, but dispenses pheromones that distract the senses. They maybe quite beautiful or handsome, but they are humble in their demeanor. Their deposition must be such that their personality is void of all egos. With egos pushed aside, it is then and only then, am I able to capture the true unadulterated beauty that resides in their soul.
The models that I personally choose all have qualities that are beyond the mundane. They rival the sublime, and their souls are alive and awakened. We work together as a team in order to achieve my desired look and feeling, or my envisioned out come. It requires intimacy that goes far beyond mortal sexual connotation. I am pure in my intention towards the models that I choose to work with. I see them as a perfect work of art as they are beautiful inside out. I have worked with some of the most beautifull-est of humans on this planet in my lifetime. Some Models have been a constant source of inspiration that have left their mark upon my soul in this lifetime. I thank them all.
