FRIENDS
With my friends, I have learned to laugh, and risk appearing to be the fool.
With my friends, I weep and risk appearing to be sentimental.
With friends, we reach out for another, and we risk involvement.
With my friends, I expose feelings and risk exposing my true self.
With my friends, I place my ideas, my hopes, and my dreams.
With my friends, I have judge and I risk their loss.
With my friends, I open myself to love, and I risk not being loved in return.
With my friends, I risk living.
With my friends, I risk dying.
With my friends, I risk my greatest hopes, and my deepest despairs
With my friends have learned to appreciate failures.
As human beings, we must risk friendships.
The greatest hazard in life is that of not risking the involvement with another human being.
Those of us who risk nothing, are nothing, and are slaves to our deepest fears. They have forfeited their right the to be free.
In my life, I have been blessed with many friends who have been my greatest teachers. My friends have encouraged me. Some have guided me. Some have loved me unconditionally.
Some have accepted me on all my many Dreams, desires, and my folly.
Some of my friendships have molded my consciousness into the way it is in today.
My true friendship has been fraught with Love. Some friendships have been fought with deceptions.
Some have been forge with a mixture of all the above, but never- the- less I have leaned how to a great friend, and how to be a friend to others would seeks a friend in me.
